2018年9月29日，西安市鄠邑区石井镇蔡家坡村支亮园林、盆景、栽培违建项目开始被挖掘机拆解。该行动后，鄠邑区将实现零散违建别墅全部拆除。

同步进行的还有覆土复绿工作。鄠邑区副区长杨战海说：“将于29日当晚连夜完成建筑垃圾的清运工作，30日完成黄土覆盖。通过对违建别墅的整治，还百姓一个美丽的秦岭。”鄠邑区还组织沿山村组干部观摩集中拆除行动，开展警示教育。“现场观看这次拆违行动，思想上深受震撼，接受了一堂活生生的法制教育课。”蔡家坡村监委会主任陈猛说，在今后的秦岭保护工作中，要牢牢坚持法制思维，依法依规依纪办事，让守法者得利，让违法者付出高昂成本，还秦岭以宁静和谐美丽。
